Located on Main Street in downtown Concrete, Baker River Woodworks is a unique shop offering the natural beauty of wood transformed into heirloom furniture.
Proprietor and master woodworker, John Burmaster, welcomes visitors to browse through his shop and observe his custom work; some finished and some still emerging.
Whether you are buying, ordering, or just looking; Baker River Woodworks encourages visitors to stop in the proud old building with its large show room windows, two entry doors, and well used wooden floors. It is easy to find in down-town Concrete. It is in the historical part of town which is now the center of artistry and craftsmanship.
I was approached by Brooke Pederson from the Concrete Library last month with a request to build a unique book case to display books written by children from Concrete School district involved in the the Young Authors program. They received a grant and the rest of the cost I have donated. It was delivered today 3/25/17
